What is it like to be removed from your family of origin and then go to work for the same system that raised you?
ReFiled is a nine-episode audio drama inquiry created by people who have lived in residential placement as children or youth and now work as Child and Youth Care practitioners.
What you will hear is not a single person’s story.
It is based on a multiple related, intersecting, and contradicting experiences from a variety of people. Some of the stories are lived, some fictional, some fantastical, all are true.
Home to home.
File to file.
Worker to worker.
Care to care.
